On Friday, Jason and I went to the Museum of Modern Art on West 53rd Street in Manhattan. We went to see the new exhibition, Century of the Child: Growing by Design, 1900-2000. I was especially excited to see characters and props from Pee-Wee’s Playhouse including Conky, Globey, Clocky and the red padded playhouse door! (Unfortunately, photography is not permitted in special exhibits) Check it out here.
After enjoying all the toys, posters, videos (and so much more) at the exhibit, we explored a few other floors of the museum. Unable to see it all in one visit, we vowed to make our way back to the MoMA very soon!

It’s easy to forget how many amazing things there are to do in the city. Making time to go to a museum reminded me how many other things I want to do in Manhattan…
